| What do we live for, if it is not to make life less difficult for each other? - George Eliot |
| Berry Street strives to provide worthwhile volunteering opportunities as a key component of our business partnerships. As individuals or in groups, our volunteers make meaningful and valuable contributions to events, fundraising campaigns and in support of specific programs and day-to-day operations. We also provide evaluation sheets to each volunteer, tailored to the specific activity. Their experiences allow us to provide formal feedback to their organisation, as well as continually improve the efficiency, effectiveness and relevance of our volunteering program. As our highly sought after volunteering opportunities are limited, we can only offer these as part of a broader partnership agreement. Volunteering must be complemented by at least one other form of support, such as Workplace (Payroll) Giving, pro bono services, or direct program funding. To find out more about how to volunteer, please contact us at supportus@berrystreet.org.au or on (03) 9429 9266. |
