Are you part of a community group, sports club or organising committee? Fundraising with a group of friends or colleagues is not only a great way to raise funds for Berry Street but you can also have a lot of fun whilst you do it!

Below are some ideas for how you can raise money for Berry Street or if you’ve got a great idea of your own, simply complete our Fundraising Event form and get fundraising!

  • Have a bake sale: If you’re handy in the kitchen why not whip up some cakes and slices, sell them and donate your profits to Berry Street?

  • Hold a car wash day: Get your group together for a day of washing cars; at $10/car you can raise some much needed money for Berry Street.

  • Host a ball: A ball can be as big or as small an event as you want it to be. Organise an evening with dinner and music. You can also include an auction or a raffle to raise more funds.

**To make fundraising for your activity as easy as possible, why not create a page on our fundraising website and give all your supporters a quick and secure way to donate online. Here's how:

1. Log on to our fundraising website

2. Follow the simple instructions to set up your personalised fundraising page - you can specify a fundraising goal, upload an image, and even include a message on why you are supporting Berry Street

3. Email the link to your fundraising page to your family, friends and colleagues and encourage them to sponsor you

4. Each donation is recorded on your page along with any message of support from your sponsors. They will automatically be issued with tax-deductible receipts and the funds transferred to Berry Street.
